Somerset Street

Part of Torus' Area Action Plan, Somerset is one of seven sites that the organisation has invested in and will regenerate to create new, modern, energy efficient homes.

With the site consisting of 2 2-bedroom bungalows, 28 2-bedroom and 10 3-bedroom homes, all of which will be available via Affordable Rent, Somerset Street will see brownfield land transformed, not only creating a brand new community, but also tackling a number of antisocial behaviours, such as fly tipping, through its redevelopment.

A key area of focus for Torus as a group, Somerset Street is the latest St Helens scheme that has commenced which will have a number of positive ramifications for future residents and the wider community as it will help unlock new employment and training opportunities and further support from the Torus Foundation.
